How a redesign of Hilton’s corporate site helped reduce excessive maintenance costs
I simplified Hilton’s sprawling corporate site from 4000+ pages to just under 20, improving the UX and saving hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

The challenge
Hilton’s corporate site had over 4,000 pages. The navigation was complex, leaving users confused and frustrated. The site was difficult to update, and was costing hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in maintenance, hosting and translations.

The solution
I audited the site’s content and created a new site map, simplifying the site’s structure from 4,000+ pages to around 20 pages, based on my understanding of user goals and stakeholder priorities.
To refine the site’s largest section, I sketched and co-designed an interactive tool to connect property developers to Hilton’s regional representatives.
